NQT Training & Support

Full training on the core teaching standards as well as support, guidance and advice for NQT’s and their in-school Induction Tutors.

Our NQT Training Programmes offer two different levels of support to guide NQTs and their in-school tutors through the NQT Induction process and provide comprehensive training on the core teaching standards.

Although we are a nationally accredited NQT Appropriate Body, we do not offer an NQT accreditation service ourselves. This can arranged through our partner teaching school the Hamwic Teaching School Alliance who will be responsible for NQT registration and quality assuring the formal assessment process. See here for more details.

The NQT Handbook and Induction Resources for 2018-2019 will be available here shortly.

NQT Training and Support Programme
Our NQT Training and Support Programme is ideal for schools that don’t already have an affiliation with an NQT Appropriate Body and would like us to provide full training on the core teaching standards as well as support, guidance and advice for NQT’s and their in-school Induction Tutors, including organising visits to other schools, providing tailored workshops matched to NQT’s needs and offering network support and guidance through the Formal Assessments.

You will need to organise your own registration and accreditation through another NQT Appropriate Body such as the Hamwic Teaching School Alliance, but we can provide everything else:

Beechwood TSA News Welcome reception and briefing for NQT’s in September.
