Teaching Development Package

Our Teaching Development Package offers comprehensive training for teachers at all stages of career progression, from NQTs to outstanding practitioners seeking to develop their expertise.

Our Teaching Development Package offers comprehensive training for teachers at all stages of career progression, from NQTs to outstanding practitioners seeking to develop their expertise. Our Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) and Recently Qualified Teacher (RQT) programmes provide:

Core training in all key areas of teaching practice for teachers early in their careers.
Elective additional training for those areas of development identified by the participating teachers and their mentors.
In-school tasks and lesson studies to develop areas of practice within teachers’ own school settings.
Support networks and surgeries.

The NQT Training Programme provides core training on the teachers’ standards and on the wider curriculum and includes a range of gap tasks aimed at linking the training with schools’ own NQT mentoring and target-setting programmes. Please note, although we provide NQT’s with support and advice on completing the three NQT Assessments, this programme does not include NQT accreditation.

Our Improving and Outstanding Teaching Programmes take a more tailored approach, recognising that participants may need more focused support and training on one or more specific areas of their teaching practice. In these programmes, participating teachers will receive personalised in-school coaching by our team of SLE’s.
